Green Commute Initiative

MISSION ZERO has been awarded Nelson City Council funding to lead a Green Commute Initiative, enabling organisations in our region to drive behaviour change related to employee commuting.

The project brings together 5-8 large and SME businesses to identify barriers to change, find solutions, survey employees and put action plans in place for change.

The project runs from now until June 2025. Each participating business will need a committed resource willing to give around 30-35 hours to the project over this time period. Outcomes include employee survey data, an action plan and networking opportunities with like-minded businesses.
